Home/Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Solen Unity does with your personal data when you visit solenunity.com or order from us. It is short because we collect very little: this website has no accounts, no basket, no checkout, no newsletter sign-up and no analytics.

1. What this website collects on its own

Browsing solenunity.com sets no cookies and runs no tracking or analytics scripts. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, timestamp, the page requested and your browser's user-agent string — for a short period, for security and to keep the service running. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you. See our Cookie Policy for the detail.

2. What you send us by email

Because orders are arranged by email, the data we hold about a customer is the data in that email thread:

  • Your name and email address, so we can reply to you.
  • Your delivery address, once you approve an order, so the parcel can reach you.
  • The order details — product, colour, size, price and delivery method — so we can fulfil the order and honour returns and guarantee claims.
  • Anything else you choose to tell us, such as a photo attached to a warranty claim.

We do not ask for and do not store payment card numbers. No card details are entered on this website at any point.

3. Why we are allowed to hold it

We process this data to take steps at your request before entering a contract and then to perform that contract (fulfilling your order, handling returns and guarantee claims), and on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering correspondence and keeping proper business records. We do not send marketing email, so we do not process your data for marketing at all. We never sell personal data.

4. Who else sees it

  • Our email provider, which carries the messages between you and us.
  • The delivery carrier, which receives the name and address needed to deliver your parcel.
  • Our hosting provider, which serves this website and holds the server logs described above.

Each is bound by confidentiality and receives only what is necessary. This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers and Google may log the IP address that made the request; no cookie is set by that request.

5. How long we keep it

Order correspondence is kept for the length of the five-year guarantee plus any period required for accounting and tax, so that we can honour a claim years later. General enquiries that do not become orders are deleted within 12 months. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host and then discarded.

6. Your rights

  • To access the personal data we hold about you.
  • To have inaccurate data corrected.
  • To have your data erased, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • To object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability.
  • To withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on it.
  • To complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email admin@solenunity.com. We respond within 30 days.

7. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Order correspondence is held in an access-controlled mailbox, and only the people who need it to fulfil orders and answer claims can read it.

8. Children

Our products are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest revision. For any privacy question or request, contact admin@solenunity.com.
