Rainwear — and the website you read about it on — should work for everyone. We are committed to making solenunity.com usable by as many people as possible.

1. Our approach

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This is a continuing effort rather than a one-off audit: we review the site as we change it and fix what we find.

2. What we do

  • Every page is plain static HTML. Navigation, product information, prices, policies and our contact details are all present in the page itself, so the site remains readable with JavaScript switched off or when using assistive technology that does not run scripts.
  • Keyboard navigation. Menus, filters, product options and accordions can all be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and a skip link at the top of every page jumps straight to the main content.
  • Screen-reader support. Semantic headings in order, landmark regions, descriptive link text, labelled controls and meaningful alt text on every content image.
  • Readable contrast. Text and interactive elements meet AA contrast requirements against our warm-neutral backgrounds.
  • Visible focus. You can always see which element you are on.
  • No motion traps. Nothing on the site auto-plays, auto-scrolls or moves without your input.

3. Known limitations

We are honest about what is not perfect yet. The shop category filter and the sort control are enhancements that need JavaScript; without it the shop page still lists all six products in full, so nothing is hidden from you. Product image thumbnails also swap via script, but each product page shows its main image regardless. We are working through both.

4. An accessible way to order

Ordering here does not depend on getting through a checkout form. Every product page carries a plain email link, and you can equally write to us in your own words at admin@solenunity.com with the product and size you want. If any part of this site is getting in your way, that email is a complete substitute for it.

5. Feedback

If you meet a barrier, please tell us — accessibility problems get fixed fastest when people report them. Email admin@solenunity.com with “Accessibility” in the subject, or use our contact page. We reply within one business day and will tell you honestly whether and when we can fix it.
